This was a commissioned piece depicting a scene from a traditional Korean folk tale. It shows a Tiger being berated by an angry magpie in a pine tree. I absolutely loved researching the traditional Korean artwork and themes to bring this scene more into my style. The client gave me a specific disc of wood they wanted me to wood burn. The wood grain was an absolutely perfect choice for the background on this one.
